Francesca Floris is a consultant at CSC specializing in the areas of peace, conflict and participatory government. In September 2020, she began her current role as Graduate Inclusion and Diversity Officer at North Yorkshire County Council.
Additionally, she has two years of experience working in the UK Muslim charity sector as a Digital Content officer at MCF, managing social media channels, copywriting, and developing posters and videos. Francesca’s passion rests in the pursuance of social change and social justice.
She believes that we must break the mould and push boundaries to make a new and fairer world a reality - but this can only be made possible by effectively engaging local communities with this vision and empowering them to take action.
Francesca is a graduate of International Relations from SOAS, University of London, with her dissertation exploring the use of the body as a weapon of resistance amongst Palestinian and Irish political prisoners. She is currently enrolled in a Masters degree in History from Queen’s University Belfast.
