Violence, Peacebuilding, and Epistemology

Yasmin Jones is a Volunteer at CSC specializing in violence, peace and epistemology, with a background in law and philosophy.

Her research interests are on the ways in which violence goes beyond conflict and why this is important for peace work. Yasmin is interested in the ethical dilemmas surrounding peacebuilding efforts, with particular interest in definitions of violence and how aspects of violence are often unconsciously reproduced by peacebuilding actors.
