Community dialogue

A medium of discussion often used to facilitate social change. In the context of violence prevention, it can be used to bring conflict parties together to deescalate or resolve any pending matters. It can also be used for myriad other purposes such as generating awareness and solutions to inter-group and systemic violence through the exchange of information, and sharing of stories, experiences and honest perspectives. Many CSC representatives have decades of experience facilitating these types of engagements between actors operating at local, subnational, national, and international levels.
