Danny Lord

Founding Member and Consultant

Peace, Conflict, Politics

Danny is a founding member and consultant at CSC, focusing on peace, conflict, and politics.

His research looks at the structural impacts of humanitarian and peacebuilding interventions, including the largely unintended consequences of intervention practise which can reproduce or exacerbate social harms while trying to address extreme direct violence. His current focus is on the impacts of intervention in northern Uganda in the shadow of the International Criminal Court (ICC).

Danny holds an Msc in Comparative Political Thought from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London, and a BA in Philosophy from the University of Nottingham.

He also has several years’ experience in digital marketing and SEO in the private sector, and applies this in running the CSC website.
